The next morning (January 5) the first visit arrived: Jim Thompson's house and the Jim Thompson Art Center. This American arrived in Thailand in the 1940s and made a fortune with a silk business. From there, a typical Thai house was built and accumulated works of art to become the museum we will visit.
In the afternoon, visit Temple Wat Pho, recognized as the first university center in Thailand. There you could learn all about Thai massage and medicine. Undoubtedly, that tradition is what we try to keep alive at Thai Spa Massage.
The day ends in a relaxed way with a dinner at the Harmonique, a traditional restaurant reached by boat. Without a doubt, a varied tour of all that Bangkok has to offer.
With the intention that it should not be a heavy trip but quite the opposite, on day 6 you receive a 2-hour treatment at the Divana Nurture Spa, considered the best in the whole city. Again with the batteries charged, we will go up to the Mahanakkon tower, the highest in Bangkok.
It could not be a complete journey without a visit to the monks of Wat Mahathat, with whom you can do a meditation session. Then, a boat trip along the typical canals of the city. In the afternoon, we offer you the option of visiting a place where they massage your neck and skull while washing your hair. A sensation of total relax.
On January 8 we said goodbye to Bangkok to travel to Singapur, with the historic Fullerton Hotel as accommodation, also considered a national monument.
